Taperoo railway station is a railway station on the Outer Harbor railway line which is located in the northwestern Adelaide suburb of Taperoo. It is located 18.2 km from the Adelaide Railway Station and caters for broad gauge (1600 mm) suburban trains only. This station was originally named Silicate Siding but the name of Taperoo was adopted on 22 November 1920. Originally a step down platform, it was replaced with the current island platform in 1955.
